What is your job title, and what does that position entail?

I am a Buyer, which entails product procurement, price comparisons/negotiations, lead time evaluations, expediting, and special projects.

How long have you worked at Olympus, where did you come from? A little history of how you got involved with Olympus?

I started working with Olympus in June 2019. I first started as a Client Account Representative for the Southern California territory and was promoted to Buyer in November 2021.

What do you like best about working at Olympus?

The team! Everyone here is so supportive and friendly. We all genuinely enjoy working together and having fun while doing it.

Describe some of your hobbies – what do you like to do outside of work?

When the weather is nice, I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring the awesome nature that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Otherwise, I am usually curled up with one of my cats and a good book or tv show.

What are some key lessons you have taken from your career thus far?

Good communication can solve almost any problem and improve relations with others. It’s more efficient to take the time to do things right, rather than rush and make mistakes. Always be willing to learn new things to add to and improve your skill-set.
