What is your job title, and what does that position entail?
I am an Engineering Technician. Most of what I do is design and detail our electrical cabinets. But no one here at Olympus Controls wears just one hat. I also act as a Manufacturing Engineer, design and detail our IPS frames and work in our prototype machine shop.
How long have you worked at Olympus, where did you come from?
I have been working at Olympus since April 2011. I started working here part time while going to high school. Before coming to Olympus I worked as an HVAC installer for a small HVAC company.
What do you like best about working at Olympus?
When one of our customers brings us an issue they are having and we are able to work together to come up with a solution…that’s a great feeling. I find it extremely fulfilling to find a solution to our customers problems.
Describe some of your hobbies – what do you like to do outside of work?
On my days off I like hanging out with my family, playing guitar and golfing.
