Product Focus: P Series Servo Drive

The Parker P Series servo system combines compact, flexible, advanced functionality drives with high performance motors for a superior servo system, providing unique value to machine builders. The P-Series drives operate with a variety of machine control architectures and offer sophisticated servo capability. A number of different feedback types are supported to drive a wide range of linear and rotary servo motors. Product Focus: MPP Series

The MaxPlusPlus (MPP) series of brushless servo motors from Parker features a new design that offers lower inertia and higher power, all in a small motor package. These brushless servo motors are designed for the demanding applications found in today’s high performance servo systems.  The MPP motors feature segmented core technology, which can yield up to 40% higher torque per unit size that conventionally wound servo motors. ‘Potted’ stators improve heat transfer for better thermal efficiency, resulting in increased torque at the motor shaft. Product Focus: MX80S Miniature Stage Series

The MX80S low profile miniature positioner offers reliable linear positioning for space restricted applications. It can be driven by a 2mm lead precision ground ballscrew or a high efficiency PTFE coated leadscrew offered with 1mm, 2mm, and 10mm leads and can be driven by either a servo or stepper motor. Parker’s Electric Thrust Tubular linear motor actuator series (ETT) is a tubular-style linear motor offering a unique solution for machine builders, OEMs, and users alike.  The ETT‘s linear motion is directly generated without the need for mechanical transmission elements like ball screws, toothed belts and gearboxes. The body of this actuator houses the motor stator, with the magnets embedded in the moving rod, making it a direct-drive, rod-style thrust actuator.

Parker Hannifin’s new, High Moment Rodless linear actuator series is one of the most user friendly and versatile actuator lines on the market today. With 5 different frame sizes, 2 different drive train options, multiple mounting and carriage options, and an IP54 protective cover option, along with a multitude of other customizable features the HMR was truly designed with flexibility in mind. Product Focus: XFC Extreme Force Electric Cylinder

Parker’s XFC series an Extreme Force Electric Thrust Cylinder featuring roller screw, drive technology. This industrially hardened cylinder product utilizes an all steel construction and is manufactured to standard metric hydraulic tie rod design. The resulting cylinder offers significantly greater levels of control in addition to being an energy efficient fluid power substitute. Utilizing roller screw technology allows the XFC to achieve far greater thrust capacities than typical electric cylinders; a maximum thrust up to 356,000N (80,000lbs). The key to the roller screw is the utilization of planetary rollers in place of typical ball bearings providing an increased number of contact surfaces between the screw shaft and the roller nut, yielding greater stiffness and load capacity and making it ideal for shock loading applications.

Product Focus: PV Planetary Gearbox

The PV Series Planetary Gearbox combines Power and Versatility with its wide combination of options which includes dimensional output face crossovers to the Parker Bayside PX, Alpha LP, Neugart PLE, Stober PE and standard NEMA output face dimensions. The PV features high radial load capacities by using a full compliment of precision needle bearings. PV’s superior design also provides high output torque and high input speeds up to 8000 max rpm.

Product Focus: MX80M Mini Positioners

The MX80m stages are offered as free travel or micrometer driven units with 25mm or 50mm travel. They include innovative tooling features to make mounting and precision alignment quicker and easier. A hardened steel master reference surface is provided along the side of the stage to allow fixturing or other tooling elements to be precisely aligned with the actual travel path. Dowel pin holes are provided on the carriage top for repeatable mounting or tooling. Also available are custom features such as a steel body design, vacuum prepped units, and anti cage creep bearings for high dynamic applications up to 150mm travel.

The new Intelligent Parker Amplifier or IPA, is a 1.5 axis servo drive/controller based on the ACR control platform. Available in two power levels, 400W and 1500W, the IPA can drive a wide range of rotary and linear motors and supports a number of industry standard feedback protocols.
