What is your job title, and what does that position entail?
I’m an Applications Engineer for the Lake Dallas office and I provide technical support to our customers and assist our sales engineers wherever I can.
How long have you worked at Olympus, where did you come from? A little history of how you got involved with Olympus?
I’ve been working with Olympus since January 2020 straight out of collage from UNT. I met Jason McDaniel near my last semester and he invited me to our Gulf Waves event. It was a great time and I got to meet my future colleagues!
What do you like best about working at Olympus?
My favorite part about working for Olympus Controls, right now, is that I am in the forefront of the ever changing industry and I get to see and work with new technology and innovations.
Describe a little of your past history.
I’m from a small town called Bonham of about 10k people so the move to Denton was exciting. There was way more to do and see.
Describe some of your hobbies – what do you like to do outside of work?
Some hobbies of mine include biking, reading and the occasional fishing when I am at Bonham. There is a small lake my family and three other neighbors share and catching bass and feeding the catfish is always relaxing.
