Cobot Machine Tending Training

This 2-hour introductory session - presented with Olympus Controls - offers a hands-on overview of how collaborative robots (cobots) are revolutionizing machine tending in modern manufacturing. Participants will become familiar with Universal Robots (UR) cobots and discover how automation streamlines loading, unloading, and part handling for CNC machines.

In this session, you will:

  • Gain a basic understanding of cobot technology and safety
  • Observe demonstrations of cobots performing machine tending tasks
  • Learn how UR cobots increase productivity and flexibility in manufacturing
  • Explore real-world applications and integration basics
No robotics or manufacturing experience is needed. This session is ideal for anyone interested in automation, from students to industry professionals.

Universal Robots Hands-on Workshop
